The article presents an overview of modern technologies and materials aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings. The analysis of the reasons for the loss of heat resources allowed us to identify the problem areas of building structures that require optimization. In this paperwork, we compare the effectiveness of innovative methods with the standard characteristics of existing buildings. The main directions of energy saving are considered: improvement of structures, monitoring of engineering systems, optimized heat supply and the use of new materials.DOI
