The study investigated antibiotic contamination in lakes of the Akmola region using a modified disk diffusion method. Results showed that microorganisms in control lakes remained sensitive to some antibiotics, while high resistance (90–100%) was observed for several commonly used antibiotics, indicating the presence of antibiotic-resistant bacteria and potential environmental contamination.DOI

Практическое значение
The study provides important information about the spread of antibiotic-resistant microorganisms in the lakes of the Akmola region. The findings can be used to monitor environmental pollution, assess ecological and public health risks, improve wastewater and agricultural management practices, and support measures aimed at preventing the further spread of antibiotic resistance in aquatic ecosystems.Квартиль
