The article presents the results of experimental studies of the methods of the geophysical survey of wells, performed on the territory of the Karazhambas field. Based on the materials of petrophysical and geophysical studies, petrophysical and reservoir-filtration features, texture-structural characteristics were clarified, and a unified method for interpreting the geophysical survey of wells was developed, which allows us to identify promising reservoirs. © Conference and Exhibition Eng. and Mining Geophysics

Практическое значение

The study refined the reservoir and filtration-capacity properties of productive horizons within the Cretaceous and Jurassic complexes of the Karazhambas field and developed an integrated methodology for well log interpretation. The obtained results improve the reliability of reservoir identification, determination of fluid saturation, and hydrocarbon reserve assessment. The proposed methodology can be applied in geological and geophysical support of oil and gas exploration and field development projects.
